Dolly John, PhD
Dolly John, PhD MPH is a Kellogg Health Scholar and Research Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her research focuses on reducing social inequities in health and access, use and quality of health services, particularly those arising from the contexts of work and immigration and affecting underserved populations (e.g., racial/ethnic minorities, immigrants, socially disadvantaged groups of workers). Her current research also includes studying the social determinants of health among Asian Americans and the long-term impact of occupational class disparities in health and health service use. She received her PhD in Health Services from the University of Washington School of Public Health. She has research experience from local, state, and national level research studies, primarily examining the health and health care of racial/ethnic minority and low-income populations, using quantitative and qualitative methods.
